The short version
Pourtion stores everything you log on your device. There’s no account, no login, and no Pourtion server holding your drinking data. Alcohol data is sensitive, and the product is built so it never has to leave your phone.
What we store, and where
Your sessions, drinks, ratings, regret tags, and morning check-ins are saved in a local database on your device. They are not uploaded to us. If you delete the app, that data is gone with it (so an export feature is on our roadmap, not a sync-to-cloud one).
What we don’t do
We don’t run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on your personal entries. We don’t sell data — there’s nothing collected to sell. We never produce a blood-alcohol estimate or an “OK to drive” signal, and we never share your entries with anyone.
Payments
If you subscribe to Pro, the purchase is handled by the app store and our billing provider (RevenueCat). They process the transaction and your subscription status; they do not receive the contents of your logs. Only an anonymous subscription identifier is used to unlock Pro.
Notifications
The optional morning reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It is opt-in and involves no server or push service.
Age
Pourtion is for adults of legal drinking age in their region. You confirm this on first launch.
